Berths no.3 and 4 are served by 6 "cmi" gantry/trolley cranes fitted with 2 hoists in tandem of 15 tones each, with a total capacity of 30 tones with the two hoists in tandem, the working field is fm bollard 15 to 31.

Fm bollard 14 to bollard 29, running along the south edge of the pier, there are 10 adjoining warehouses, 30 x 100 m each, 3 of them open at either end and the 4 in the middle roofed, all of them are provided with gantry cranes of 25 tons each.

Stevedores at sidor are working round the clock during weekdays, saturday and sundays, not working on holidays.

The estimated loading rate by two shore crane and 1 ship's crane (normal method used by sidor for loading steel prods) is abt 2.000 mt per day of 24 hrs w.p. , provided that all cargo is ready and stored at warehouses adjacent to the pier.

Please be advised that sidor always perform a watertight test to hatch covers by ultrasonic method, prior and after loading, in case that vsl fails to pass the test, shippers will order to shift vsl to anchorage for owner's acct and time till vessel's hatch covers are ready.

Normally, sidor discharge bulk cargoes at pier no.1 or 2, using their own cranes/grabs directly into belt conveyor system at an estimated discharging rate of 3.000 mt per day or 24 hrs.

We must point out, that sidor always request that bs/l are signed and released by master or his agents "clean" against a l.o.i. Issued by them.
